Prices for students with a valid visa from non-EU countries may differ. The Monthly tuition fees begin at 785€, depending on your study location. We also charge a one-time registration fee of 490€. Please ask the student advisory team for additional service fees.

Study Media Design

Media Design encompasses the creation and implementation of design content for adverts, PR and marketing, as well as for the film and TV industries. From the creation of graphic elements on paper, on the tablet and on the PC, to the conception of brochures, websites and to the final implementation with common programs such as the Adobe Suite, this course conveys theoretical and practical basics and in-depth knowledge that will prepare you optimally for today's market requirements.

What we offer

The Mediadesign University has been providing expert education for more than 30 years. They offer state-recognized degree programmes in all areas of Media and Design. There are three locations to choose from in the media and fashion strongholds of Berlin, Dusseldorf and Munich. They combine a good city location, modern facilities and many opportunities to organize your studies flexibly.

In addition to the in-depth training by lecturers who are active in the industry,the university's Career Service functions as a partner for students in arranging internships and transferring them to work.


Admission requirements:

General university entrance qualification, a technical college entrance qualification or a qualification recognized as equivalent. Studying without a high school diploma is possible in accordance with § 11 BerlHG through the subject-specific qualification.

Application process

Small group sizes up to 25 students. A detailed application (with school leaving certificates and a curriculum vitae with photo) and a personal interview determine the admission. The application should include a portfolio with work samples from the various media sectors. You can apply at any time. 

Job profile: Media Designer

Since the possibilities as a media designer are as diverse as the media itself, numerous doors are open to you. In particular, that of multimedia and PR agencies, of film or television production companies, and of advertising departments in industry or public institutes.
